Its a sad day for Mac users. Jef Raskin, creator of the Macintosh, has gone to the great interface matrix.



I know for a fact that some of you here are old enough to remember how it was to have to memorize DOS commands to make the damn machines work. The interface for the Mac was different, and it has made a difference in all computer OSes since.


This guy had done some pretty incredible things, and its a shame he checked out of the party so soon.



I'm sure that to Hall Monitor of Death can elaborate.
